is that like a... use a channel and wait for it to close() kind of thing?
but then you'd have an array of channels you'd have to hand off to other goroutines also attached to the waitASN list.
or have the go routine have a big array of todos that you dynamically grow with a mutex, and have it occasionally run through each to find a domain with the ASN unblocked,
or have the worker run a select from SQL every so often to populate the worker queues
queue interruption to pause/unpause things is weird. my brain doesn't think well with that
I guess you could try an approach and graph how many tasks are queued or blocked in each approach, and the memory use or wasted SQL queries?

I was reminiscing last week about our previous MP. James Lunney was a Reform/Conservative MP and he was 'famous’ for saying dumb anti-science things. He was also a chiropractor... which tracks. He was the only politician on Twitter to block me. He didn't like his constituents asking him how his ancestors walked with T-Rex I guess. 🤷‍♂️

Das was ich "nicht gelesen" und "nicht beantwortet" habe, ist ein edit von @… an ihrem toot, den sie gemacht hat, während ich meine antwort verfasst habe - den ich also nicht kennen konnte. Sowas nennt sich bei wikipedia "edit conflict" und führt dort nicht zu einem block. C'est la vie.
